Keeping up with the Kardashians can feel like a heavy burden.

Yet aspiring beauties are shaking off the weight to attain K-inspired silhouettes.

“Me after seeing Kylie and Kendall’s shoulders on the yacht in Mallorca,” fitness influencer @ProteckPhilippe, known as PP, commented in a TikTok video showcasing her tough upper arm workout.

The brunette focused her workout on achieving the sleek look of Kylie, 26, and Kendall, 28, who displayed their fit physiques while vacationing on a luxury yacht off Spain in June.

“Yacht shoulders,” PP wrote as a caption, as the post garnered over 7.6 million views from online audiences—many of whom were critical of her for initiating yet another Kardashian-inspired trend.

A fresh addition to the body-modification trend, “yacht shoulders” refer to slim, sculpted shoulders paired with a delicate neck and stylishly defined collarbone.

Unlike the trending “TrapTox” phenomenon, where beauty enthusiasts inject Botox into their trapezius muscles for a leaner appearance, women chasing the yacht shoulders look are heading to the gym for that sought-after physique.

“Those yacht shoulders are coming!” promised UK fitness influencer Natalie Rose while performing a weightlifting routine.

Health influencer Nathalie Jennings shared similar thoughts in a different clip of her own shoulder-toning workout on a machine.

Natalia, a lifestyle creator, also took to TikTok, excitedly stating, “I’m thrilled to announce that I do have yacht shoulders,” as indicated in the caption of her post. “Feeling so blessed.”

However, not everyone views this ultra-slim trend as a positive development.

“The beauty standards for arms and shoulders are ridiculous,” complained one critic beneath PP’s trending video.

“Ummmm they also use Ozempic, and undergo substantial work and upkeep,” claimed another regarding the Kardashians.

“Love yourself,” advised a concerned commenter.

A dose of self-love, along with less time spent on social media, might be beneficial for some easily influenced young women.

In fact, a study conducted in February 2023 by the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Research Institute revealed that reducing a teenager’s social media time by half could “significantly” enhance their body image within weeks.

Alyssa McKay, 23, from Manhattan, previously shared with The Post that she instantly regretted her $7,000 breast augmentation aimed at replicating Kylie’s ample bust.

“When I got my breast implants, the beauty trend focused on emulating the Kardashian look—big breasts and a curvy backside,” she noted regarding the curvaceous family.

“I wish I had taken the time to think about whether surgery was truly something I wanted,” McKay reflected.

“Ultimately, I just want to feel content with who I am and my body as it is.”
