The Polish yard Sunreef Yachts has unveiled the flagship model of its Ultima range at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival.
Called the Ultima 111, this catamaran has been designed in collaboration with the Dutch design agency Phathom Studio and will be constructed at its facility in Ras al Khaimah, UAE.
The range is marketed as “the world’s most technically hybrid ecospeeder.”
“The larger the model, the more elongated and horizontal lines begin to appear,” said Phathom Studio’s Fabian Henke during the Sunreef Yachts press conference. “We aimed to keep the Ultima 111 as dynamic as its siblings, incorporating strong, forward-facing diagonals and oversized fashion plates.”
Accommodation is provided in three cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite complete with a private terrace and access to the foredeck. Unlike previous models that positioned guest cabins on the lower deck, the Ultima 111’s increased tonnage allows for their relocation to the main deck for enhanced views. Consequently, the hulls are dedicated entirely to crew, arranged across four cabins, including the captain’s quarters.
This model features side-opening balconies on both the main and lower decks.
Another notable aspect is the galley, located within the portside hull, which includes a dumbwaiter that services the al fresco dining areas on the main and upper decks.
For leisure, the upper deck lounge offers a Jacuzzi bordered by sunpads, along with a dining area and lounge seating at the rear. An openable hardtop provides added versatility for all seasons. The beach club maintains a similar configuration to previous Ultima models, featuring unfolding bulwarks and sunbathing options. The aft garage can accommodate a tender and a Waverunner.
An open-concept atrium staircase connects all three levels.
Specifications are not finalized, but the Ultima 111 is anticipated to reach a maximum speed of 25-26 knots, with a hybrid version also being available.
During the conference, Sunreef Yachts also announced the sale of the third unit in its Eco 43M series. This model features an advanced hydro-generation system for “emission-free cruising” and an “infinite range,” according to the shipyard.
