The Sunreef family has just grown larger.
On Tuesday, the Polish shipyard introduced a new 111-foot flagship to its rapidly growing Ultima series. Sunreef initially unveiled the Ultima collection in 2023, showcasing two high-tech hybrid catamarans of 45 and 55 feet at the Miami and Fort Lauderdale boat shows. The collection now consists of six advanced hybrid catamarans that range from 45 to 111 feet.
Referred to as “eco-speeders” by Sunreef, the Ultima vessels combine monohull dynamics with multihull proportions for enhanced speed, stability, and comfort at sea. Each model exemplifies what the shipyard calls “the ultimate hull shape”—which is the origin of the Ultima name—featuring sleek, aerodynamic lines and sharply angled bows that minimize drag, leading to better performance and efficiency.
Created in collaboration with Dutch design firm Phathom Studio, the newest addition showcases the signature Ultima characteristics with a sporty, automotive-inspired aesthetic. This eco cruiser is equipped with Sunreef’s unique solar skin, custom-engineered battery systems, and a sophisticated hybrid propulsion system. It can also be fitted with hydrofoils to glide across the waves with even less resistance.
The impressive interior features an elegant open atrium staircase that connects all three levels. All living spaces are positioned above each hull, providing seafarers with both spaciousness and great views. The two forward guest cabins offer panoramic views, while the full-beam owner’s suite has a private walk-out terrace with direct access to the forward deck. The living areas can be customized for the owner, with a range of layout and decor options available.
The exterior decks present opportunities for both leisure and entertainment. The upper deck includes a comfortable lounge, a glass hot tub, and an outdoor dining area, while the bow and aft deck feature additional cozy lounging spaces. Towards the back, the swim platform includes fold-out terraces that allow for direct access to the ocean. The upper deck also features expandable balconies that can be opened for more space.
Another clever feature is the full tender garage, which has been cleverly concealed beneath the flush aft deck, allowing for ample storage of toys and tenders without compromising the catamaran’s sleek outline.
