Intrepid Powerboats hosted its inaugural Owners Rendezvous at Hawks Cay Resort in Florida, and company President Ken Clinton is already excited for the next event.

“I cherish the stories shared about the storm they encountered and how the Intrepid saw them through, the fish they reeled in, and the other unforgettable moments created on their Intrepid that will linger with them and their families forever,” Clinton expressed in an email. “I should have organized this much sooner!”

Approximately 60 attendees participated in the Owners Rendezvous held from July 12-14 in the Florida Keys. Intrepid Powerboats capped the number of attendees as this was the inaugural event, according to Clinton.

On Friday, participants arrived and were greeted with gift bags containing shirts, towels, and other items. That evening, they enjoyed a cocktail reception, followed by dinner and live entertainment.

Saturday began with breakfast, followed by a raft-up party before returning to Hawks Cay Resort for dinner and drinks. Sponsors contributed items for a customer raffle, and Clinton shared details about the various boat models being constructed at the company’s manufacturing plant in Largo, Florida.

“Following the launch of the 345 Nomad FE and SE at the Fort Lauderdale boat show, we then introduced the 375 Nomad FE and SE, and we are currently building the 345 Walk Around, alongside the 407 Nomad FE and SE, plus our newest flagship, the 477 Evolution, amounting to eight new models in just one year—an unprecedented number in Intrepid Powerboats’ history,” Clinton noted. “I then showcased our new Brand Essence video. I wanted the attendees to have the first look at it.”

On Sunday, the guests enjoyed breakfast, loaded their boats, and then headed home.

Clinton, who has dedicated nearly 29 years to the company, mentioned he valued the personal interaction with customers during the first Owners Rendezvous. “I truly appreciate their feedback,” Clinton stated. “I want to know what they love, what they dislike, and their desires for the future.”
