Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has announced the delivery of the first unit in its SX100 crossover series. The 30.5-meter model was first introduced at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival and fills the gap between the SX88 and the SX112.

Similar to the larger SX112, the SX100 features an exterior designed by Zuccon International Project and shares characteristic features such as cut-out bulwarks, a reverse windscreen, fold-down sea terraces, and a crane integrated into the superstructure.

However, a significant difference from its siblings is the placement of the owner’s cabin, which is located at the front of the main deck. The remaining three guest cabins are situated on the lower deck, with additional accommodations for a crew of five.

The interior design has been managed by Piero Lissoni, who incorporates large mirrors in the communal areas to enhance the feeling of space and reflect natural light, complemented by light neutral tones. Two internal staircases are pivotal to the design of the SX100: the first, made of chromed metal, connects a lounge on the lower deck with a lounge on the main deck, while the second connects the main deck to the flybridge.

A 5.7-meter tender can be stored on the aft deck, which transforms into a waterside sun lounge when the tender is launched.

Power is supplied by four Volvo D13 engines, allowing for a top speed of 23 knots and a range of 1600 nautical miles at 10 knots.

According to BOATPro, Sanlorenzo has an impressive 60 yachts on order or under construction.

This includes the Italian shipyard’s new flagship, the 73Steel. The 1900GT model began outfitting in December 2023 and is scheduled for delivery in 2025.
