The second fleet comprising six teams, independent of any America’s Cup team, commenced their initial day of racing in the elimination series for the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup today.

Forecast for Friday, September 20 – Youth America’s Cup Day 2
The weather is expected to worsen today and in the coming days. Rain and showers will occur in the morning, causing variable winds. By afternoon, the rain and showers should lessen and eventually cease, with winds expected to come from the East at about 5 to 10 knots.
The sea conditions will be calm, with waves reaching 0.5 meters from the East and a 4-second period. Temperatures are projected to reach 22°C.
