However, the racing has been postponed by five minutes, with only light winds on the race course and a heavy swell from yesterday’s strong winds that gusted to 40kts.

Morning winds are expected from the North-West. The winds will decrease by midday, and the sea breeze may struggle to form later. In the afternoon, light winds of around 4 to 8 knots are anticipated, with the wind direction being variable, shifting significantly from East to South.
The sea state this morning from a buoy near the race course is registering 1.3 meters of waves from the South at 6-second intervals. The wave conditions will remain relatively constant throughout the day, creating challenging sailing conditions in conjunction with light winds.
The sky will generally be clear with some clouds in the afternoon, and temperatures are expected to rise to 24°C.
