World Sailing is excited to reveal the nominees for this year’s male and female Rolex World Sailor of the Year, male and female Young World Sailor of the Year, 11th Hour Racing Sustainability Award, World Sailing Technology Award, and Team of the Year.
The list features Olympic champions, leading teams, and organizations dedicated to impacting the global sailing community positively. Each nominee left a mark on the judging panel through their accomplishments over the last year, their commitment to sustainability in sailing, and their initiatives to innovate the sport across all levels.
This year introduces two new awards: the male and female Young World Sailor of the Year, recognizing the promising talents in our sport, while the Boat of the Year award has been renamed the World Sailing Technology Award to honor broader innovations in sailing.
Voting for all World Sailing Awards starts today, and anyone passionate about sailing is invited to participate in choosing the winners. Voting will close at 2300 UTC on Sunday, 27 October.
The public ballot will account for 50% of the final results, with the remaining 50% determined by World Sailing’s expert panels.
