North Sails Apparel and the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) have announced a three-year partnership. North Sails Apparel, a leader in technical performance and sustainable, marine-inspired fashion, will serve as the Official Clothing Supplier for RORC’s esteemed offshore races, including the Rolex Fastnet Race, RORC Caribbean 600, RORC Transatlantic Race, and the eagerly anticipated return of the Admiral’s Cup.

During the first year of this partnership, North Sails Apparel will provide the RORC Race Team with durable, high-performance outerwear and uniforms as they focus on delivering safe and dynamic racing and events.

In line with RORC and North Sails Apparel’s dedication to talent development, North Sails has also equipped 10 crews on the Griffin project with full race kits, facilitating a pathway for youth sailors into offshore racing. These young crews will participate in international competitions such as the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour in Italy and the Tour Voile in France, along with the 2025 RORC Season’s Points Championship, featuring the Rolex Fastnet Race.

This partnership signifies a significant achievement for North Sails Apparel. Launched in 2021, the North Sails Performance Clothing line has rapidly become the preferred gear for victorious racing crews worldwide—most recently by Scallywag, who secured line honors in the 2024 Rolex Middle Sea Race. The collaboration with RORC solidifies North Sails Apparel’s position at the forefront of the marine clothing sector.

“Our members return year after year for our races, confident they’ll experience the best offshore racing globally,” stated Jeremy Wilton, CEO of the Royal Ocean Racing Club. “We design challenging races, and competitors depend on gear that allows them to perform at their peak while staying warm and dry in difficult offshore conditions. North Sails Apparel is specifically designed for these environments, and we look forward to advancing this partnership to ensure our crews are equipped for upcoming challenges.”

Victor Duran, CEO of North Sails Apparel, remarked, “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Royal Ocean Racing Club. Our aim when launching technical performance gear was to create the best foul weather gear globally; partnering with the world’s leading Ocean Racing Club seemed a natural progression. At North Sails Apparel, we focus on fostering talent, and I am particularly eager to witness the journeys of the Griffin graduates.”
