Lake Ontario Offshore Racing reveals its race schedule for 2025

Lake Ontario Offshore Racing (LOOR) is excited to share the confirmed race dates for the 2025 season.
Sailors, save the dates for an exhilarating series of offshore events, including the prestigious Lake Ontario 300 and 600 Challenge Races, the Susan Hood Trophy Race, and the beloved Lake Ontario Shorthanded Race Series (LOSHRS).
Lake Ontario 300 Challenge Race (LO300) July 11th – July 15th
Lake Ontario 600 Challenge Race (LO600) July 16th – July 18th (Continuation of LO300)
Susan Hood Trophy Race (SHTR) May 30th – May 31st
Lake Ontario Shorthanded Race Series (LOSHRS)
Race 1 June 1st
Race 2 June 21st
Race 3 June 22nd
Race 4 Aug. 16th – Aug. 17th
Race 5 Sep. 13th
Race 6 Sep. 14th
The LO300/LO600 and SHTR are open to compliant sailboats under the GLMRA, ORC, or PHRF handicap/rating systems, regardless of whether they are single-handed/solo, double-handed, or fully crewed. LOSHRS is available to compliant sailboats under the GLMRA or PHRF ratings competing as single-handed/solo or double-handed.
Participants can expect to see the Notices of Race, associated documents, and registration details posted on our site, www.loor.ca, ahead of the Toronto International Boat Show (TIBS), scheduled for January 18-26, 2025.

LO300 & Susan Hood Trophy Race (SHTR) Combined Flag Presentation: Saturday, July 19th at National Yacht Club (NYC)
LOOR (LO300, SHTR, and LOSHRS) Combined Trophy Awards Banquet: Friday, November 14th at Port Credit Yacht Club (PCYC)
