Norfolk Star
Builder: Perini Navi

The distinguished sailing yacht Norfolk Star was both designed and constructed by the Italian shipyard in 1996, undergoing a “multi-million euro refit” in 2022 per her broker. The renovation included a new main engine room, two new generators, a PLC system, an Inmarsat VSAT dome, a 505 Williams tender, Doyle sails, and Reckmann rigging. Accommodating six guests, the yacht features a family-friendly layout with a full-beam master cabin below deck alongside two twin cabins, including an option for an additional pullman berth.
On deck, guests can enjoy the comforts provided by the split cockpit area, complete with relaxed seating around a circular coffee table and a dining space for eight. The cherry wood interior boasts a bright upper saloon with panoramic views, complemented by a more formal main saloon featuring two sofas and a dining area with an extendable walnut table.
Norfolk Star is currently for sale and will be showcased by Burgess and Northrop & Johnson.

Galma

Launching in June this year, Galma, the first wallywind110, will make her global debut at the Monaco Yacht Show. She is distinguished by her “luminous light metallic blue” carbon hull paint that subtly changes as the light dances upon her. The sailing yacht’s naval architecture is crafted by German studio judel/vrolijk & co, with interior and exterior lines designed by Wally in tandem with Santa Maria Magnolfi. The design merges cruising yacht comfort with the essence and performance of a racing vessel, highlighted by her 6.9-metre telescopic keel.
Key features include an expansive 80-square-metre full-beam cockpit for seating and dining for up to 15 people, alongside an open-plan raised saloon. Natural light floods the interior through a skylight extending the length of the coachroof. The wallywind100 model can accommodate a three-cabin layout featuring a full-beam master suite, or a standard four-cabin layout.

Ribelle
Builder: Vitters
Year: 2017

Delivered in 2017 to seasoned sailing yacht owners, Ribelle recently entered the market after undergoing a refit that included a hull repaint, a mast and boom refresh, and new cruising sails. Constructed of carbon fibre by the Dutch yard to a design by Malcolm McKeon, the sailing yacht can operate with a small crew in cruising mode or shift into racer mode thanks to a self-tacking jib.
A frequent participant in regattas, she often showcases her prowess at some of the world’s most prestigious events, including the Maxi Rolex Cup, Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta, Les Voiles de St Tropez, and the Palma Superyacht Cup. Her Rémi Tessier-designed interior accommodates six guests in three cabins: a master suite, a VIP suite, and a twin cabin.

Dreamcatcher
Builder: Nautor Swan

Equipped with diesel-electric propulsion, the Swan 88 emerges as the Finnish shipyard’s inaugural hybrid sailing yacht, building on the evolution of its past models. Positioned at the entry to the maxi yacht segment, the vessel was delivered earlier this year and is set to debut globally at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Dreamcatcher is hailed as a “no-compromise cruiser with a racing spirit,” boasting a draught of four metres, with options for a shallow-draught, telescopic, and performance keel. Designed for comfort, the yacht maintains a maximum heeling angle of 20 degrees and showcases “feminine exterior lines” by renowned Swan designer German Frers. Her warm, classic interiors are styled by Misa Poggi, with accommodation for 10 guests.

Mini Y
Builder: Baltic Yachts

Delivered in 2018 by the Finnish shipyard, Mini Y is a Baltic 85 model crafted by UK naval architect Dixon Yacht Design. Its silver hull and superstructure are made from carbon-fibre composite, and the owner elected for a telescopic lifting keel that can transform the draft from 4.3 metres to 2.95 metres as needed. The yacht’s interior decor, designed by Mark Whiteley Design, accommodates up to four guests in an owner’s cabin and a guest cabin.
On deck, the cockpit features a fold-out table for guest enjoyment, while the helmsman can choose between two wheels. The guest cockpit can be fully covered for racing while keeping navigation instruments visible on the aft side. Mini Y entered the market earlier this year.
Mini Y is for sale and will be exhibited by Baltic Yachts and Edmiston.
Mishi 88
Builder: Yonca
Year: 2019 (2023)
Length: 26.8m
Yonca, based in Tuzla, made its official entry into the leisure marine sector with the launch of Mishi Yachts earlier this year. The new brand debuted with two sailing models measuring 26.8 meters and 31 meters, the first of which is Mishi 88, slated for exhibition at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. Naval architecture and exterior design are credited to Osman Tanju Kalaycıoğlu, Özgür Terzioğlu, and Taka Yacht, while Aylin Örs is responsible for the interiors.
Distinct features of the sloop include a spacious aft deck with a dining area that comfortably seats ten guests. To protect from the elements, the generous cockpit features a carbon composite hard-top, and the swim platform accommodates a 3.5-meter inflatable tender. Guest accommodation consists of six, divided into a master cabin and two guest cabins, with additional space for captain and crew.
Mishi 88 will be exhibited by Mishi Yachts.

YYachts Y8

German yacht builder YYachts is presenting its Y8 model at the Monaco Yacht Show. Javier Jaudenes of Surge-Projects collaborated with the in-house design team on naval architecture to establish the model’s new silhouette, with a Scandi-inspired interior crafted by Danish designer David Thulstrup. YYachts provides four pre-designed interior styles, allowing owners to customize the saloon area according to their preferences.
A standout feature is the owner’s suite, which includes a separate saloon and can be located either in the bow or stern, with direct access to the cockpit. Technical highlights of the Y8 include a standard carbon mast, a hydraulic main sheet system, and all winches positioned near the helm stations. These elements, coupled with the self-tacking jib and absence of a backstay, enhance both the yacht’s performance and handling ease.
The Y8 will be displayed by YYachts.
