Powerplay Powerboats appreciated the beam, performance, and handling of a 30-foot Conch so much that they purchased the hull and integrated it with a new deck and cockpit design. The outcome is the 30 Rum Runner, an ideal boat for island hopping, available in either single or twin-engine configurations.
Key features consist of 6-foot standing headroom within the console, equipped with an electric flushing head, 6-inch taller gunwales, and a center transom walk-through leading to the swim platform. Anglers will appreciate the 4-foot fish box below deck, which is macerated for overboard pumping, in addition to two fully lined fish boxes. Powerplay also incorporates a 5-foot below-deck storage space to accommodate rods or beach gear. Additionally, the boat includes two freshwater cockpit showers for rinsing off after swimming or cleaning the deck.
The starting price for the 30 Rum Runner with a single Mercury 350 engine is $189,000. The 30 Rum Runner is also offered with Suzuki or Yamaha engines.
