The 142.1-meter Lürssen superyacht Project Ali Baba is currently undergoing sea trials near Brunsbüttel, Germany. Her delivery is anticipated for December 2024.

The superyacht made news last December after a technical failure at the dock gate of Lürssen’s Bremen facilities caused the yacht’s bow to collide with the dock curtain.

The new build project was also observed in two halves in May 2022 when it was taken out of the construction shed. Aside from these brief sightings, details regarding Project Ali Baba remain largely undisclosed.

Available images reveal a gray profile with an elongated bow and striking exterior lines that extend across the four decks, including two helipads. The design bears stylistic similarities to the 85.2-meter Lürssen yacht Pacific, which features an exterior by German Frers.

This sighting comes after the delivery of the 82-meter Haven this summer.
