Harry Nilsson once sang “One is the Loneliest Number,” but for a select few owners of Concept Boats, they aspire to be the sole possessors.
Concept Boats has announced the creation of an Extreme Edition of its 27-foot and 30-foot models, both powered by a Seven Marine 627SV engine. The unique aspect is that only one of each model will be constructed in 2020.
The Opa-Locka, Florida-based manufacturer is now taking deposits for the Concept Extreme Edition. The company stated that these boats are designed for purchasers “who value quality, design, and the privilege of being the only individual in the world with one.” After deposit confirmation, buyers will have the opportunity to personalize their boat by choosing designs, color schemes, and luxurious finishes.
The 27’ Open Deck Series is exclusively available with a single outboard, and equipping it with the Seven Marine 627SV engine will significantly boost horsepower. Standard bow and rear seating arrangements can accommodate as many as eight passengers. Dedicated anglers can opt to remove the rear seating to create additional space. Custom options include the installation of a live well at the helm seat or a freshwater shower system either at the transom or console.
The 30’ Open Deck Series is available with twin engines, allowing for a maximum outboard rating of 700 horsepower. Although transitioning to a single Seven Marine engine reduces power, any speed deficit will be compensated for by the lower weight from having one less outboard on the transom.
This 30-footer is designed for fishing enthusiasts, featuring generous seating, fish storage, and rod holders. Elevated gunwales and reverse chines ensure a smooth and dry ride.
Seven Marine’s V8 627-hp engine is recognized as the highest horsepower outboard available, first introduced at the 2015 Miami International Boat Show.
