The brand-new Pearl 82 features a semi-walkaround deck, a first in its category.

Following the tremendous success of the Pearl 72, the UK-based Pearl Yachts introduced its all-new Pearl 82 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, establishing new milestones in the industry. This 25m raised-pilothouse yacht reimagines luxury for its size category, incorporating numerous features and design advancements usually found in much larger yachts.

With exterior and interior designs created through a talented partnership between Bill Dixon and Kelly Hoppen CBE, the Pearl 82 skillfully combines performance, elegance, and comfort, pushing the limits of yacht design within its category.

The Pearl 82 distinguishes itself with an innovative master suite on the main deck—a rare feature in its class—along with four additional en-suite staterooms and well-equipped crew quarters, providing comfortable accommodations for up to 10 guests.

Bill Dixon, the creative force behind the Pearl 82’s sleek appearance, views the design challenge as a balance of distinctive Pearl traits with groundbreaking innovations: “As with every Pearl design, the challenge is to pursue a top-level, feature-rich design,” he stated. “The Pearl 82 unquestionably shines in the 80ft segment.”

The aft deck configurations enhance the yacht’s adaptability: the Riviera layout includes sunpads behind the dining area, ideal for sunbathing, while the Veranda version offers flexible seating that transitions between a picnic setup and a more intimate patio style. Both configurations feature fold-down bulwarks that expand the cockpit area, creating a cohesive connection with nature.

“The design needed to preserve the iconic features of a Pearl yacht while achieving a sporty silhouette combined with a spacious interior and plenty of glass,” Dixon explained. “The hull design builds upon the celebrated hulls of the latest Pearl models, with the 82 further refined using computational fluid dynamics.”

Abundant large windows throughout the hull and superstructure ensure that natural light brightens the interior, fostering a connection with the external environment.

The foredeck lounge, accessible from the main deck and flybridge, invites guests with plenty of sunbathing and relaxation spots surrounding a central cocktail table. Guests can be shielded by a foredeck bimini, electric shades, and a versatile hardtop that offers three options: full shade, adjustable louvers, and complete sunshine.

Inside, the Pearl 82 continues to dazzle with its lavish interior designed by Kelly Hoppen CBE. Hoppen aimed to create a space that feels opulent yet welcoming, emphasizing seamless indoor-outdoor interaction: “I wanted a place that could exist anywhere, whether on land or at sea—New York, Paris, or London…” she remarked.

The saloon showcases floor-to-ceiling windows that enhance the feeling of space and flood the area with light. The open design features a dining space for 10 guests, a chic bar, and a lounge that promotes relaxation. The use of richly textured materials—such as timber, onyx, and soft neutral-toned furnishings—creates an ambiance of sophistication and comfort.

The master suite on the main deck is another highlight, showcasing a king bed, abundant storage, and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. This full-width stateroom is illuminated by natural light, thanks to expansive windows that provide unobstructed views of the horizon. A private staircase leads directly to the forepeak terrace, offering a secluded hideaway for the owner.

The Pearl 82 not only captivates with aesthetics but also offers impressive on-water performance. Owners can select from three propulsion options featuring twin MAN V12 engines, with power outputs ranging from 1,650hp to 2,000hp. These engines allow the yacht to achieve top speeds between 28 and 33 knots, depending on the setup, while the advanced hull design guarantees a smooth and efficient cruising experience.
