Honda Seabrook Series Boats

As part of the collaboration, Scout Boats will exclusively manufacture for Honda a 19.5-foot Seabrook Center Console or a 19.5-foot Seabrook Dual-Model, which will be available through participating Honda Marina dealers via a user-friendly online shopping platform.

“This strategic partnership with Scout Boats is aimed at providing an innovative, feature-rich approach to marine boat-and-engine offerings, paired with a streamlined, consumer-friendly shopping experience,” stated Daniel Sherlock, director of Honda’s Marine Division. “It removes the pressure and uncertainty from the boat buying journey, guarantees clarity and confidence for buyers, and surpasses expectations by delivering products that create exceptional boating adventures,”

Both Honda Seabrook Series models can be tailored with five trim options. The Seabrook Center Console will be available in various configurations, while the Seabrook Dual Console will have Base and Sport editions for the recreational boating audience.

Honda is providing the Seabrook series with unique packages and color choices. Each model features a three-year, limited warranty from stem to stern and a 10-year transferable limited warranty on the structural hull. Prices for the boats start in the mid-$70,000 range.

The 19-foot boats will feature Honda’s HD-4 Multi-Function Color display for monitoring engine data and managing fuel; a backlit 2.75-inch Ritchie compass; a Garmin Fusion stereo with 25-watt RMS and 50 peak, equipped with four 6-inch speakers; Bluetooth connectivity; a 12V socket and USB outlet; and a stainless-steel Lewmar tilt steering wheel.

Included as well are SeaStar by Dometic trim tabs, offering an intuitive dial controller with a user-friendly interface and intelligent actuator system—enabling the boat to plane more quickly and enhancing the overall ride experience.

Key additional features comprise a ski tow bar and collapsible Bimini tops (standard with Sport packages); an Igloo cooler and an aerated baitwell (standard on Seabrook Series Center Console Models); and ports for mobile phone charging.

The introduction of the Seabrook series coincides with Honda Marine’s redesign of its BF150 iST outboard, utilizing technology derived from its automotive line. This 150-hp outboard includes impressive features like Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) and a Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST) System.

Honda manufactures outboards ranging from 2.3 to 350 horsepower and incorporates its Shift and Throttle (iST) drive-by-wire system for excellent control and power, precise throttle management, variable speed trolling, improved docking, slow speed control, and an intuitive user interface.

As part of their collaboration, Honda Marine has implemented the Honda automotive online build-and-price purchasing experience. Boaters can design their boat using a mobile device or laptop, arrange financing, and submit orders to the nearest dealer for delivery.

Scout Boats, located in Summerville, South Carolina, has been crafting center consoles and bay boats since 1989. This partnership is poised to be advantageous for both organizations.

“A brand partnership with Honda Marine enhances the value of our offerings for discerning boaters, and we are eager to collaborate with the Honda team, which shares our commitment to driving new innovations, state-of-the-art technologies, and premium solutions that shape the future of the marine sector,” said Dave Wallace, president of Scout Boats.
