If you’re considering purchasing a new center console or upgrading an existing one, Suzuki Marine outboards frequently top the choice list for buyers. This Japanese brand offers high-quality engines at competitive prices, appealing to boaters across various budgets.
For the center-console segment, Suzuki Marine’s outboard options range from 40 horsepower up to 350 horsepower. With past supply chain disruptions resolved, Suzuki Marine can swiftly install a new outboard on your boat’s transom.
Explore these four new center consoles from Twin Vee, Jaguar Boats, Dynamic Boats, and Intrepid, all equipped with Suzuki Marine propulsion systems.
Twin Vee 240 STX
Twin Vee has enhanced its original 240 center console with the release of the 240 STX (24’ LOA, 8’8” beam), offering improved features and performance. The STX line now boasts enhanced fuel efficiency and superior stability compared to earlier models.
According to Twin Vee, the 240 STX is optimal for sport-fishing, featuring an open layout and high gunwales that provide confidence when reeling in large catches. The standard equipment includes an anodized aluminum T-top, which shelters the helm that allows for an optional Garmin 8616XSV display. Additionally, the console is equipped with a portable toilet, a highly valued feature.
Under the dual-person helm seating is a 65-quart cooler. There is extra seating located in the bow, as well as a bench in front of the console that accommodates two people.
To secure the day’s catch, Twin Vee has outfitted the 240 STX with in-deck fish boxes on both sides, a sizeable livewell with a pump, a rear cooler, and rod storage beneath the gunwales. Raw and freshwater washdowns are also provided for easy cleanup after a day of fishing.
For propulsion, Twin Vee has equipped the 240 STX with twin Suzuki Marine 150APX outboards. www.twinvee.com
Jaguar Boats
Jaguar Powerboats’ much-anticipated OS36 center console made a splash during its unveiling at the Florida Powerboat Club poker run, quickly attracting attention among event-goers.
The OS36 (37’ LOA, 10’10” beam) hull is derived from Jaguar’s award-winning offshore racing boat, designed to emphasize fishing capabilities above the waterline. The OS36 provides not only a spacious fishing area but also ample storage options for catches.
Noteworthy features include twin 700-quart insulated fish boxes and two 700-quart dry storage compartments positioned beneath the deck. Six Gemlux Bluewater rod holders are installed along the gunwales, and Jaguar also provides optional electric reel outlets.
The helm’s bench seat includes individual bolsters, a tackle station, and a rear-facing flip-up seat. Protecting the cockpit electronics is a T-top featuring an Isinglass windshield and side panels. Jaguar can provide a custom T-top that includes an integrated ladder, rear-facing seat, sunshade, molded-in spreader lights, and teaser reels. A spacious console is equipped with a head and access to the electrical panel.
Standard power for the OS36 consists of twin Suzuki 300-horsepower outboards, as well as options for DF350 Dual Prop, Mercury Marine 300 V8 Verados, Mercury Racing 300R, or Mercury Racing 450R outboards with Sport Master lower units.
