The first unit of Italian Vessels’ 38.1-meter ClassicA 37 series has launched, named Cheyenne. Delivery of this flagship model is anticipated before the end of this year.
The yacht’s exterior lines and naval architecture were created by Studio Samarelli, which describes it as “a ship disguised as a yacht” with various commercial design features. The interiors are designed by Francesca Cianficconi, a studio based in Rome, Italy.
Intended to be an autonomous, long-range cruiser, Cheyenne is expected to achieve Ice Class certification and complies with the diesel engine emission reduction standards established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
While visuals have not been disclosed, reports suggest that the interiors include “state-of-the-art” entertainment systems and a range of amenities that make Cheyenne “liveable 365 days a year”.
From a technical perspective, the yacht is powered by IMO III-certified engines equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) exhaust systems. Key specifications include a fuel capacity of 67,000 liters and a top speed of 15 knots.
The yard has confirmed that Cheyenne is the first build in a planned series that will feature models starting from 20 meters in length.
