Extra Yachts, a division of Palumbo Superyachts, has introduced a new 30.5-meter model named the X100 Triplex.
The Italian shipyard, which handled the naval engineering, has characterized the yacht as “significantly vertical.” The design balances three decks with an existing 28-meter platform, resulting in a high bow that is characteristic of explorer yachts, a hardtop that enhances livability on the sundeck, and internal volumes that are “typical of vessels over 40 meters.” The exterior lines are crafted by Studio Agon, which revealed its first 70-meter motor yacht concept to BOAT International last year.
The accommodations include four double cabins, two VIP cabins, and an owner’s cabin that comes with an office, vanity, and wardrobe. There are additional quarters for five crew members. The interiors, designed by the Italian studio Laura Brocchini Design, feature light oak wood and metallic furniture for a modern, minimalist look. Three interior layouts are available, including options for positioning the galley either on the main deck or the upper deck.
The aft cockpit serves as the main communal area and is divided into two sections. The first section, located closer to the beach club, is furnished with a large sunlounge, while the second section contains an informal lounge. The backrest of the sunlounger can be adjusted to face the lounge, creating a connection between the two areas.
On the upper deck, there is a formal dining space and a lounge area designed with freestanding furniture for added flexibility. The sundeck boasts a sizable bar, sunbathing areas, and a dining table suitable for 10 guests. The exterior configuration is also adaptable, with options to either install a Jacuzzi at the bow or integrate a lifting platform at the stern for the tender.
A four-meter tender, two Seabobs, and other smaller accessories can be accommodated in the stern garage.
The model is powered by twin 1550hp MAN engines, allowing for a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. An optional propulsion package with 1800hp engines is available for a higher top speed of 18 knots.
This announcement comes on the heels of the news that the first unit in the shipyard’s X90 Fast series has been sold, with expected delivery in summer 2025.
