In February, Boston Whaler unveiled the new 360 Outrage at the Miami International Boat Show, adding to their popular model lineup.
The 360 Outrage is designed as a serious fishing vessel, with designers focusing on optimizing space in the model. The bow was redesigned to enhance fishability and improve access to the windlass/anchor, while also providing more usable storage and a less cramped atmosphere.
The cockpit of the Outrage is versatile, featuring a new transom prep station that can be upgraded to include a summer kitchen complete with a grill and solid-surface countertop. Rear-facing cockpit seating has been ergonomically designed and includes a flip-down work surface, perfect for food prep or rigging lines.
Down below, the cabin incorporates a smart design with a deployable berth that flips up to secure items and offers additional storage, including numerous rod holders. An enclosed wet-head with a Vacu-Flush toilet provides extra convenience for longer outings.
The standard configuration of the 360 Outrage includes triple 300-hp Mercury Verado engines with Joystick Piloting (JPO). Optional upgrades from Mercury consist of triple 450-hp Mercury Racing engines or twin 600-hp V12 Verado engines. The helm is equipped with a standard 16” Simrad display, which operates in conjunction with an optional Seakeeper gyrostabilizer, ensuring comfort in choppy waters.
The 360 Outrage provides remote access and control for essential systems through innovative digital switching technology. A convenient key fob allows owners to power up batteries as they near the boat, activate and modify light settings, and deploy or retract the sunshade, among other functions. Moreover, the 360 Outrage is fitted with Mercury’s new 1st Mate Marine Safety and Security System.
With twin Mercury Verado 600 Verado V12 engines, the boat achieved a remarkable top speed of 62 mph at 6,400 rpm. This is impressive considering the boat’s weight of 23,000 pounds. Operating at a comfortable 4,000 rpm, the Outrage boasts a range of 301 miles.
The Outrage series includes a total of 10 boats, ranging from 19 to 43 feet in length.
“This serves as the ideal cornerstone for our Miami exhibition, embodying the essence of purposeful innovation that defines every Boston Whaler model,” remarked Melanie Whaley, the marketing director.
