While some center-console models can have wait times of up to three years, Dynamic Boats, based in Miami, can deliver a boat within a week. This expediency stems from company owner John Bellemare’s decision to construct five D-305V boats prior to their debut at the Newport International Boat Show in September.
“I entered this business fully aware of the supply chain challenges we would face,” Bellemare stated. “However, I wasn’t about to launch a company and accept orders for boats I couldn’t deliver, which is why I manufactured five boats on speculation.”
Dynamic showcased its D-305V (named for the Miami area code) featuring a robust rubrail alongside another model with a standard stainless-steel rubrail, highlighting its diverse offerings.
“We designed the sturdier rubrail for South Florida and areas south of Virginia,” Bellemare explained. “There aren’t many floating docks; most are fixed, so having a larger, impact-resistant rubber rail provides additional protection against pilings or similar obstacles.”
Bellemare, also a yacht captain, operates a 20,000 square foot facility near Miami Airport for constructing the D-305V. He mentioned that as Dynamic expands its model range, more factory space will be acquired.
The D-305V (30’ 5” overall length, 9’ beam) boasts a plumb bow and a classic cockpit setup, allowing easy movement around the vessel and features deep 33-inch gunwales.
Dynamic includes facing lounges at the bow and seating with a table positioned just ahead of the console. Additional options feature a full bench on the transom and two captain’s chairs beneath the hardtop. A Dometic refrigerated cooler conveniently slides out from below the leaning post.
Dynamic offers the center console with either a single or twin outboards, though most customers are expected to choose the twin configuration for enhanced performance. The hull can support up to 800 horsepower, and buyers can select between Suzuki, Mercury, or Yamaha engines.
“We established Dynamic to construct a (38-meter sailing) super yacht currently being built in Florida,” Bellemare revealed. “Throughout that process, we recognized that every super yacht needs a tender. This presented us with the opportunity to start this company, which we believed would be beneficial in the super yacht construction.”
