DMCA Policy

1. Notification of Infringement

2. Counter-Notification

If you believe that the material you posted on Gulf Yacht News was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. The counter-notification must include the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  4. Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Gulf Yacht News may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

3. Repeat Infringers

Gulf Yacht News reserves the right to terminate the accounts or access of users who are found to be repeat infringers.

4. Misrepresentations

Please be aware that under the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. This includes any costs and attorneys’ fees incurred by us or by the alleged infringer as a result of our reliance on such misrepresentation in removing or disabling access to the material or activity claimed to be infringing.
