Few vacations can rival the beauty and allure of traveling through the Florida Keys. From driving the Seven Mile Bridge to fishing in Key West, there’s something for everyone in the Florida Keys.

Starting just south of Miami, the Florida Keys are divided into five distinct regions: Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Big Pine and the Lower Keys, and Key West. Each region has unique attractions, including museums, historical and cultural sites, diverse flora and fauna, local seafood restaurants, and specialties, along with fishing, diving, water sports, and boutique shopping.

The islands are linked by the Florida Keys Overseas Highway, featuring 42 bridges spanning the Atlantic Ocean, Florida Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico. Numerous major fishing tournaments occur in the Florida Keys, drawing top anglers from around the globe.

Besides fantastic boating, the Florida Keys provides excellent diving, snorkeling, and various other water sports. The Dry Tortugas National Park located in Key West showcases stunning scenery and ranks among Florida’s top beach sites.

If snorkeling feels too slow-paced, consider attending the Key West World Championships of powerboat racing in early November. The collection of vessels—from center consoles to racing boats—is incredible, and it promises to be an unforgettable party.
