Construction is underway on the Atlante Classic 25, the inaugural unit in Atlante Yachts’ 34.5-meter explorer series. The hull and superstructure have been joined, and the yacht is currently being worked on at Mengi Yay’s shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey.

Delivery to her “experienced Northern European” owner is set for spring 2025.

The engines are certified to IMO Tier III standards to comply with the latest emissions regulations.

The Atlante Classic 35 represents a contemporary take on the full displacement explorer yacht, with Atlante Yachts focusing on an entirely Italian design. Both the exterior and interior designs are the work of VYD Studio, while Arrabito Naval Architects will finalize the naval architecture.

The accommodation consists of five en suite cabins. Interior renderings showcase a modern and fresh style, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, light-wood wall paneling, and a soft color palette of blues and greys. The design was developed with significant input from the owners, particularly in selecting high-quality Italian materials and fabrics.

Leisure features include a beach club with a folding transom and generous entertainment spaces across its three decks. The hardtop sundeck serves as the primary communal area, equipped with fixed sunpads, an outdoor dining area with U-shaped sofa seating, and a dry bar.

“With the layout of the Atlante Classic 35, we aimed to achieve an ideal balance within the constraints of length, beam, and a significant volume of 330GT, typically reserved for vessels several meters longer,” said Paolo Dose from VYD Studio. “This creates a harmonious balance between accommodation, living spaces, exterior areas, and technical facilities.”

Powered by twin Volvo Penta engines, the Atlante Classic 35 is expected to have a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range exceeding 5,000 nautical miles.

According to BOATPro, Mengi Yay is currently constructing seven other hulls. The shipyard has recently delivered the first unit in its 47.5-meter series, Serenissima I, which will make its debut at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
