Delivered in 1988 by a Dutch shipyard, Ice Bear features exterior design and naval architecture by Frits De Voogt. The interior was designed by Paola D. Smith and Associates. The broker highlighted that Ice Bear has been used solely for private purposes and is in “excellent condition,” maintained through a comprehensive and professional upkeep program.
Accommodation is provided across five cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck that comes with a private study, his and hers en suite bathrooms, and a walk-in wardrobe. The other cabins are located on the lower deck, each with seating areas and en suite bathrooms. Additionally, there are quarters available for 11 crew members.
Ice Bear is particularly noted for her aft deck, which features two fixed fishing chairs, ample seating, and a crow’s nest complete with an outdoor helm station. She also carries 24 decorative polar bears on board, a tribute to her Arctic-inspired name.
