During last month’s Shootout On The Strip evening street event leading up to the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, thousands of attendees passed by the new Performance Powerboats P-360 catamaran, but only a few recognized that the 36-footer was hull No. 7. Just under two years ago, Performance Boat Center, based in Osage Beach, Mo. and the creator of the brand, delivered the first model of this 36-footer.

Since that time, Performance Powerboats has introduced a 42-footer and—most recently—completed its inaugural single-engine 28-footer.
“We’re extremely proud of how far we’ve come,” stated Brett Manire, co-owner of the multi-brand dealership that also represents the MTI and Sunsation Powerboats brands.
The impressive eight-seat catamaran is equipped with twin Mercury Racing 500R engines.
The first two Performance Powerboats P-360 catamarans utilized Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines. The last five models have been fitted with 500-hp outboards from the engine manufacturer located in Fond du Lac, Wis. Hull No. 7 is headed to Hawkeye Boat Sales in Dubuque, Iowa.
Meanwhile, Hull No. 8 is currently being finished at Performance Boat Center, under the supervision of the dealership’s Myrick Coil, who manages the painting, rigging, and interior installation tasks. The unfinished hulls are crafted at the Performance Powerboats facility in Houston, Texas.
