It’s time for anniversaries. Time for celebrations. Yes, time. A crucial word that reflects the journey undertaken by Baglietto, a path that spans 170 years at the Ligurian shipyard. This is a story of vision, passion, and adventure, capable of navigating the challenges of three centuries while continually redefining the concept of the yacht. To commemorate this unique moment, Baglietto has created a distinctive timepiece.
Limited to just 170 pieces, the Millemetri Baglietto 1854 Watch was developed with the valuable support and contribution of Francesco Paszkowski, who has been the signature reference for boats crafted by the La Spezia-based shipyard for over thirty years. Alongside Alberto Grassi, the designer behind Millemetri, Paszkowski has lent his creativity and nautical expertise to create a timepiece that embodies Baglietto’s aesthetic and stylistic codes: from the Baglietto logo on the dial, notably in blue, to the numbering engraved on the back of the case, which features the Anniversary commemorative logo as well as the renowned motto ‘Memento Audere Semper’ that inspired poet D’Annunzio for the historic MAS, the boats that made the brand famous during the World Wars.
The crown is custom-engraved with a seagull pictogram, and the strap is exclusively Baglietto blue. The attention to detail extends to the customized packaging, which features glossy blue lacquered wood and a stainless steel logo finish. Specifically, the watch has a bronze and aluminum case that frames a dial with unique graphics. Luminova-coated hour markers and Roman numerals, along with the hour and minute hands, are highlighted on the outermost ring, which is tinted blue.
Powering the timepiece is the Sellita Caliber 200.1, a Swiss-made self-winding mechanical movement featuring a 38-hour power reserve. The diving nature of this limited edition is emphasized by its water resistance of 100 atmospheres, equivalent to 1,000 meters. The watch is available for exclusive sale while stocks last.
