The 30.5-meter yacht The Admiral, built by Broward Marine, has sunk after a fire broke out while it was docked in Marina del Rey, California. The LA County fire department responded to fire reports at 8:33 PM yesterday (September 18). Two individuals were on board at the time but managed to evacuate without any injuries. Local reports indicate that the flames inside the yacht were resistant to the firefighters’ attempts to extinguish them, causing the vessel to quickly start listing.
