Support yacht expert Shadowcat has unveiled a catamaran concept measuring 72.8 meters, named Catfish. This design was developed in partnership with T. Fotiadis Design, based in Berlin, who also recently presented a 140-meter trimaran concept to BOAT International. The naval architecture has been executed by Incat Crowther. Catfish is distinguished by wave-compensation davits capable of operating in 1.5-meter seas, contrary to monohulls “which generally can only launch and recover in harbor conditions.” She can serve as a support vessel for a larger yacht or function as an independent explorer vessel.
