KAANAPALI (HawaiiNewsNow) – On Tuesday, four individuals were hurt when a commercial catamaran ran aground in the waters off West Maui. Emergency responders arrived at Kaanapali Beach at approximately 7:15 p.m. MFD reported that 53 individuals, consisting of 49 passengers and four crew members, remained on the vessel upon the firefighters’ arrival.
