Mengi Yay has provided a first look at the initial hull in its Virtus 39 superyacht series, Reverie. The 39.4-meter yacht was delivered in August 2023, followed by its sistership Twins, which was delivered in March 2024.

The interior and exterior design are credited to VYD Studio, with engineering by Ginton Naval Architects. A standout feature of Reverie is its high-voltage electrical system, enabling operation in “silent mode” for extended periods. Key specifications include a beam of 8.8 meters, a draught of 2.8 meters, and a volume of 437GT.

Similar to the Virtus 44 and Virtus 47, the designer concentrated on maximizing space and creating intelligent solutions that elevate “comfort standards […] to the highest level,” despite the yacht’s “more compact build.” The accommodation comprises five cabins, including an en suite owner’s cabin with a separate office and sofa seating, along with additional quarters for three crew members.

The interiors are sleek and modern, with VYD Studio selecting light woods and a fresh color palette of white, blue, and umber. The main saloon is made bright and airy by floor-to-ceiling windows, although the integrated LED lighting can create a more subdued atmosphere when desired.

Leisure features include a tidy, uncluttered foredeck that can be furnished with sun loungers, a formal dining area on the main deck, and a sundeck bar and lounge area. Additionally, the swim platform can be transformed into an impromptu lounge equipped with deck chairs and coffee tables.

Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, Reverie achieves a maximum speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 12.2 knots, and a range of 2,200 nautical miles.

According to BOATPro, the yard has eight more units currently under construction.
