Sunseeker unveils new 41-meter superyacht model at boot Düsseldorf.

At the recent boot Düsseldorf event, the British yacht builder Sunseeker seized the opportunity to showcase its latest vessel, the Sunseeker 135, measuring an impressive 41.1 meters. The first of these luxurious yachts is expected to be delivered in 2027. This unveiling coincides with the revival of the yard’s earlier models, the Sunseeker 120 and Ocean 460, which debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2023 and 2022, respectively.

While full specifications for the Sunseeker 135 are still under wraps, some noteworthy features were highlighted during the press conference. Among these are a hard chine hull design and certifications that meet RINA commercial standards as well as IMO Tier III and MCA regulations, making her suitable for both private use and charter operations.

Additionally, Sunseeker clarified that the 135 is an evolution of the hull form established in the Sunseeker 131, a 40.1-meter model launched back in 2015. This new model retains the original underwater and bow configurations while introducing the most significant updates above the waterline. Features like a skylounge on the upper deck, a beach club equipped with storage for a 6.5-meter tender and two Jet Skis, and expanding bulwarks that create a “water-level lounge” during anchor time, truly enhance the onboard experience.

Accommodations are thoughtfully designed with five guest cabins and a main deck master suite that includes a dedicated workspace and a luxurious bathtub. The interiors will be crafted by Design Unlimited, a long-time partner known for its exceptional work on the Sunseeker 100 and the award-nominated Sunseeker Ocean 156 showcased at last year’s BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards.

The Sunseeker 120 was announced at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show

During the conference, Sean Robertson, the sales and marketing director, elaborated on how this “new package” of designs is being relaunched with the goal of securing an order for the Sunseeker 120 by the third quarter of 2025. Furthermore, Sunseeker’s CEO, Andrea Frabetti, noted a surge of interest in these new designs from the US market while also confirming their compatibility with hybrid propulsion technologies.

This exciting announcement comes on the heels of news regarding Sunseeker’s acquisition by Lionheart Capital and Orienta Capital Partners, which aims to facilitate significant investments in both core and niche yacht models going forward.
