President Li acknowledged his Vice Presidents, stating, “Since my election as World Sailing President in 2020, my Vice Presidents have worked diligently, and we have achieved significant successes, particularly in terms of enhanced stability, increased unity, unanimous approval of our new strategy, our new Olympic Vision, an unprecedented 94% support from our membership for our governance reform project, and a successful Olympic Games.
“As we move forward with a new board, we appreciate the substantial contributions from the World Sailing staff, volunteers, and outgoing board members that have led to these successes. Sailing is in excellent condition, and I am eager to collaborate with my new Board and all stakeholders who desire to contribute to the best interests of sailing.”
