The competition for the lead in the Vendée Globe is fierce, and overnight Yoann Richomme on Paprec Arkea has surged ahead, with Sébastien Simon on Groupe Dubreuil in second place and former leader Charlie Dalin on MACIF Santé Prévoyance dropped to third.
