The Italian studio Pininfarina has unveiled a new 80-meter concept named Kairos 80. This superyacht is part of Oceanco’s Simply Custom range, designed to streamline the commissioning process and provide clients with a reliable naval platform developed by Lateral Naval Architects.
Kairos 80 has been adapted from a 90-meter collaboration between the Italian shipyard and Oceanco in 2021 to better fit within the Simply Custom range.
Her renderings depict a stunning exterior defined by sharp, angular lines that create a unique profile on the water. Designer Daniele Mazzon describes the Kairos 80 as “a peaceful oasis in which to relax and enjoy time on your own terms.”
Notably, this design takes a “360-degree” approach, aiming to foster a connection “to the sea below, the light above and to the people beside you.” This philosophy is evident in the yacht’s unconventional outline, with each deck showcasing distinctive shapes and elongated darkened windows.
While details of the interior remain mostly undisclosed at this time, sketches of the internal space suggest a bright, open-plan design with expansive windows that allow natural light to flood the area.
Proposed onboard features include an aft helipad, a sit-up bar, and a Jacuzzi located at the front of the sundeck. Visuals also reveal a piazza beach club equipped with a large swimming pool at the rear of the yacht, alongside other outdoor spaces featuring sunpads and loungers. “The owner and their guests are at the heart of the onboard experience and the surrounding space,” Mazzon elaborated.
All Simply Custom designs will be equipped with a “state-of-the-art” all-electric propulsion and energy architecture system.
This follows the introduction of another concept, Standby, which is also part of the Simply Custom collection. Designed by Jay Aberdoni, Standby features a “geometrically layered” deck.
