Heritage Italian shipyard Riva has announced a new 70-meter flagship currently under construction at its facilities in Ancona.

Set to launch in 2028, the new project will be designed by Officina Italiana Design and will be a hybrid build featuring a hotel load powered by batteries. This capability allows for zero-emission operation while at anchor and cruising in “silent mode.” Constructed from steel and aluminum, the full-displacement yacht will also feature a more efficient hull design for enhanced seakeeping.

Details about the project were unveiled by Riva’s parent company, Ferretti Group, during a press conference at the Monaco Yacht Show.

The shipyard also shared additional information about its current flagship series, the 54-meter Metri, which will see its first hull launch in 2025, with the second hull expected in 2026 and the third in 2027.
