Italian shipyard Apreamare has unveiled a new refit division dedicated solely to its own yachts at its facilities in Sorrento.

The new facility will cover 3,000 square meters and can accommodate up to five boats at the same time. It officially opened at the beginning of September.

This historic shipyard, which traces its origins back to 1849, has approximately 2,000 boats in the water, and the new division aims to “address the needs of the entire fleet.”

A spokesperson for the yard stated that the purpose of the division is to “take your [Apreamare boat] to the person who built it to restore it to its original splendor.”

Cataldo Aprea, president of Apreamare, expressed: “I am proud to announce this new refit division, which was born from market demand, and which reflects the prestige of our boats navigating the world’s seas. Special thanks to all the Apreamare workers who dedicate themselves every day with commitment and care, enabling us to continue providing a product of the highest quality.”

The announcement was made during the Genoa International Boat Show, where Apreamare presented the only global debut of the event. The 27.7-meter Maestro 88 was showcased at the show because “Apreamare is an Italian brand deeply connected to the sea, and the Genoa Boat Show embodies those qualities,” according to the yard.
