The initial two fleets, each comprising six teams, were set to compete on Day 5 of the Youth America’s Cup.
Group A includes teams associated with entries in the 2024 America’s Cup, while Group B consists of invited teams unaffiliated with an America’s Cup team. They are slated for their third day of racing in the elimination series for the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup.
Competitions took place yesterday in better wind conditions.
The status of today’s racing is uncertain, with Event Management issuing a statement earlier today indicating that the winds are unstable. A further announcement is anticipated at 1200 CET regarding the continuation of the races. The latest update reads: “boats remain on shore; wind at 6-8 knots and variable, awaiting further updates.”
