On April 12, 2025, you can visit London for Cartier’s forthcoming exhibition at the renowned Victoria & Albert Museum. This exhibition marks the first significant showcase of the jewelry brand in the UK in nearly three decades and will feature over 350 pieces.

According to WWD, “items will be loaned to this exhibition by King Charles III, British and international museums, as well as private collectors”. This exhibition, running from April 12 through November 16 next year, offers guests a journey through Cartier’s extensive legacy as one of the world’s premier jewelry and watch houses. Founded in 1847 by Louis-François Cartier, it was his grandsons, Louis, Pierre, and Jacques, who solidified the brand’s position as a luxury giant globally. The trio broadened the brand’s presence by establishing branches in New York, London, and Paris, thus expanding its reach to a diverse luxury audience, inclusive of the music, art, and film sectors.

Undoubtedly, the brand was already highly esteemed and cherished by royals—the house was famously labeled by King Edward VII as “the jeweller of kings and the king of jewellers.” This upcoming exhibition at the V&A Museum will showcase a collection of valuable jewels and gemstones sourced not only from the V&A and Cartier’s own archives but also from the Royal Collection, generously lent by His Majesty The King, alongside contributions from museums and private collections, both UK and international. Attendees will also be able to view iconic timepieces, clocks, and other remarkable artifacts during the exhibition.

Tickets for the exhibition will be on sale soon.
