The Italian shipyard Cantieri di Pisa has reported significant revenue growth since its acquisition by Enrico Gennasio in 2021.
According to CEO Marco Massabò, Cantieri di Pisa’s sales reached €3 million in 2021, followed by €3.5 million in 2022 and €4 million in 2023. This growth was partly driven by investments totaling €6 million since 2021 aimed at expanding and developing the yard’s production facilities, which now cover an area of 50,000 square meters, along with an additional refit area of 24,000 square meters.
A key element of the yard’s repositioning strategy has involved bringing Antonio Luxardo on board as chief designer. He has since introduced three new ranges: the Polaris 48, Saturno 56, and the redesigned Akhir line, the latter being unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
The redesigned Akhir 44 was presented at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival.

“From the very beginning, the objective of the new management team has been to restore [Cantieri di Pisa], which has left its mark in Italian yachting history with the construction of over 700 boats [since its founding in 1945], to its pioneering role as an innovator and a showcase of Made in Italy excellence worldwide,” stated a representative from the yard.
Currently holding an order book worth €27 million, Cantieri di Pisa is preparing for the delivery of a 24-meter 80 Veloce and a 37.5-meter explorer yacht, with launches planned for 2025 and 2026, respectively.
