New stealth Line Up

Five outboard motors will showcase a matte black finish that is certain to attract attention.

Suzuki Marine USA is set to launch a Stealth Line this summer, featuring five Suzuki outboards with a sleek, all matte black finish and coordinating chrome black graphics.

The Stealth Line (“Shinobi” in Japanese) was unveiled at an exclusive event during the 2024 Miami International Boat Show. The outboards that are receiving the Shinobi enhancement include the DF115B and DF250A (available now) as well as the DF150, DF200, and DF250, which will be available in early summer 2024.Image 7142w

This matte finish offers a striking contrast to traditional outboards with glossy surfaces. When tested in the waters, the matte finish remained unaffected by the saltwater at the Miami docks.

Brandon Cerka, the general manager of sales and marketing at Suzuki Marine USA, stated that they received an overwhelmingly positive reaction from dealers and boat-building collaborators.

“We believe it will be very popular with customers nationwide, especially among serious freshwater and saltwater anglers,” Cerka noted. “Having a Suzuki Stealth Line outboard on their boat allows customers to rule the waters while drawing plenty of admiring glances from onlookers.”

Under the cowling, the outboards provide the same fuel efficiency and dependability that boaters have come to expect from Suzuki’s four-stroke models. The inline 4-cylinder DF115B Stealth Line outboard is ideal for smaller center consoles, while the larger inline 4-cylinder DF150 and DF200 Stealth Line outboards are well-suited for center consoles, bay boats, and other freshwater/inshore vessels. Both options are available with a 2.5:1 gear ratio.

Suzuki’s V6 Stealth Line features the high-powered DF250 Stealth (mechanically controlled), perfect for large bay boats, along with the DF250A Stealth (digitally controlled) designed for single-application bay boats.

Suzuki Marine also introduced a concept version of its flagship V6 DF350AMD outboard featuring dual contra-rotating propellers. A future announcement regarding this model is anticipated from Suzuki.
