Pearl Yachts is poised to make a remarkable impact at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, taking place from September 10th to 15th. This prestigious event will feature the worldwide debut of the brand-new Pearl 82, along with two other successful models from the Pearl lineup: the Pearl 62 and the Pearl 72.
The launch of the Pearl 82 at Cannes underscores the brand’s dedication to a product strategy centered on features. This new 5-cabin model is ready to revolutionize yacht design in the eighty-foot category, epitomizing innovation that integrates contemporary design with luxurious interiors and distinctive features, earning it the title of “the most compact superyacht on the market.”
At a length of 25.30 meters, the Pearl 82 represents the essence of intelligent luxury. It is the only yacht in its class to incorporate a stylish raised pilothouse design along with a main deck owner’s suite, featuring sliding glass doors that lead directly to a private foredeck terrace. This exclusive area offers a tranquil escape, complete with breathtaking views and a seamless connection to the sea. Additionally, the Pearl 82 allows for direct access from the flybridge to the expansive foredeck lounge situated above the owner’s suite, eliminating the need to traverse side walkways and stairs.
At the back, the Pearl 82 includes fold-down bulwarks that extend the cockpit area, creating a remarkable space that can be configured in two different layouts: the Riviera, featuring sun pads facing inward behind the outdoor cockpit’s table and sofa arrangement; or the Veranda, which provides adaptable seating options for both formal and casual gatherings while always maintaining clear views of the ocean. Regardless of the selected layout, the bulwarks can be folded down to enhance the cockpit’s space and reinforce its connection to the surrounding area. A cleverly hidden garage accommodates a Williams 395 tender, jet ski, and various water toys.
This yacht is not only a new model; it is a declaration of innovation, performance, and craftsmanship tailored to meet the highest standards of discerning yacht owners.
Glass House Design
The saloon of the Pearl 82 enchants with floor-to-ceiling windows that maximize natural light and enhance the sense of space in the salon area. Together with the openings in the bulwarks, these elements create a remarkable connection with the surrounding environment. A dining area for 8 or 10 guests (depending on the layout) is placed in front of a stunning bar, which serves as the room’s centerpiece. The galley is accessed from the port side, with the entrance to the master suite located on the starboard side. The engine room, galley, and foredeck can all be reached from the port side deck, ensuring privacy for guests and crew.
Impressive Accommodation
The main deck master suite is introduced through a breathtaking entrance with panoramic views. A king-sized bed is oriented forward, surrounded by seating and storage furniture, a walk-in wardrobe, and an opulent en-suite bathroom. Below deck, there are four additional guest cabins with en-suites—two twin and two double—each furnished to the same high standards as the master suite and separated from the engine room by crew quarters. An alternative 4-cabin layout is also available.
Exquisite Craftsmanship by Leading Designers
Under the leadership of Iain Smallridge, Founder and Managing Director, along with the Pearl Product Development Team, the distinguished British design duo of naval architect Bill Dixon and interior designer Kelly Hoppen CBE has crafted a vessel that flawlessly merges performance with exceptional sophistication. Dixon’s exterior design accentuates the yacht’s sporty profile, while Hoppen’s interior styling fosters an environment of refined elegance, featuring open-plan layouts and breathtaking views available in four exclusive styles unique to Pearl Yachts: Indulgence, Luxury, Modern, and the new Monochrome.
“We are excited to unveil the Pearl 82 at the Cannes Yachting Festival, a yacht that embodies our commitment to pushing the limits of design and luxury. She is the most beautifully proportioned compact superyacht available, boasting numerous unique features. This yacht is a testament to our philosophy focused on features and our spirit of innovation, providing our clients with a yacht that not only meets but exceeds their expectations, enhancing the joy of yacht ownership,” said Iain Smallridge, Managing Director of Pearl Yachts.
Impressive Performance
The Pearl 82 provides three propulsion options equipped with twin MAN V12 engines, ranging from 1650hp to 2000hp. Whichever option is chosen, the sophisticated naval architecture guarantees a smooth, efficient cruise and easy handling. The most powerful engines allow the yacht to reach speeds up to 32 knots, with the other two options capable of 30 and 28 knots, respectively.
A Stellar Line-Up
In addition to the Pearl 82, Pearl Yachts will also display the stylish Pearl 62 and the award-winning Pearl 72. The Pearl 62 is renowned for its spacious interiors and innovative features, while the Pearl 72, recently awarded the 2024 Motor Boat Awards, represents Pearl Yachts’ leadership in the industry. As a boutique yacht builder, Pearl Yachts is committed to creating a limited number of high-quality vessels each year, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and exclusivity. The Pearl 82 exemplifies this dedication, pledging to surpass the expectations of even the most discerning clientele.
