The Italian yachting brand Austin Parker has revealed the design of a new navetta yacht model, the Iconica 100, at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival.

This announcement is part of the introduction of its latest range of yachts, which consists of two lines: one for catamarans (Unica) and another for navettas (Iconica). The Iconica line will feature three boats ranging from 23.5 meters to 30.4 meters, with the Iconica 100 being the largest. The yachts are designed by Pininfarina and Fulvio de Simoni, showcasing the brand’s distinctive A-shaped hardtop support.

Notable features of the model include a two-level aft entrance leading to a “loft-style beach club” and guest cabins on the lower deck, while the main saloon and owner’s cabin are situated on the upper deck. The owner’s cabin comes with a private terrace for relaxation, allowing for separate crew cabins and guest areas to enhance privacy.

Other significant features include large windows and a seamless ceiling design, while the outdoor decks will feature the Segno collection designed by Pininfarina for Reflex.

Baris Nalcaci, president of Austin Parker, stated: “Austin Parker’s new range of yachts exemplifies our commitment to innovation, luxury, and sustainability. Inspired by the UNICA 58, which debuted last year at Cannes, and embodying the essence of Pininfarina and De Simoni, these new yachts reflect our dedication to excellence and our vision for the future of yachting.”

Daniele Mazzon, head of nautical design at Pininfarina, added: “Our diverse expertise has been essential in addressing the complexities of this challenge. We focused on identifying and fulfilling market gaps, ensuring that our new products provide unparalleled comfort and performance. Our latest range is designed to offer all the comforts of a private villa, without compromising the essential seakeeping abilities that our customers expect.”

Fulvio De Simoni, CEO of Fulvio de Simoni Yacht Design, also commented on the launch of the new range: “Designing a new line of boats for a shipyard is a significant responsibility, and I thank Mr. Nalcaci for having such strong faith in our work. We must predict trends, envision new ways to utilize onboard spaces, and define a unique style that represents the shipyard. Collaborating and exchanging ideas with such an important partner has been truly inspiring, and I believe we are creating high-quality projects together.”

Attendees at the Cannes Yachting Festival will have the chance to view a scale model of the ICONICA 100, as well as explore the new UNICA 58 catamaran on the water.
