The Italian yachting powerhouse Ferretti Group organized a private concert for its clients, dealers, and select members of the press this past weekend (September 7) at the Yacht Club de Monaco. The highlight of the event was a special ‘Rock DJ’ performance by Robbie Williams, Britain’s most successful solo artist, set on a stage that was suspended over the water.

This concert was part of the Group’s Private Preview, which marks the beginning of the Mediterranean yacht show season. Now in its ninth year, the Private Preview offers clients a pre-show opportunity to explore Ferretti Group’s fleet, tour new models, and test the yachts in a unique environment.

This year’s Private Preview featured 37 boats and seven world premieres, including the new 23.7-meter INFYNITO 80 from Ferretti Yachts and the 38-meter Custom Line Navetta 38, with the first unit named Telli. Riva’s all-electric el-Iseo was also showcased, along with the highly anticipated wallywind110, the first model in a new line of sailing yachts from the heritage brand Wally.

Commenting on the concert, Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi expressed gratitude to Robbie Williams for the style and exceptional talent he brought to the event, which endeared him to the guests. He noted, “He entertains his audience with incredible joy and generosity that aligns perfectly with the passion Ferretti Group invests in creating increasingly beautiful dream boats.”

He further added, “This extraordinary Private Preview heralds a remarkable season for Ferretti Group and its fantastic new products. We will carry the enthusiasm and energy of this event within us for the rest of the season, and the memories created will remain truly unforgettable.”

The event welcomed 600 yacht owners.

It was kicked off by Ferretti Group client and Formula 1 champion Charles Leclerc, alongside notable attendees such as H.R.H. Prince Albert of Monaco and Yacht Club de Monaco General Secretary Bernard d’Alessandri. Fashion designer Domenico Dolce and Italian actor Pierfrancesco Favino also graced the guest list of 600.

In addition to the live entertainment, guests enjoyed a three-course meal prepared by Michelin-starred chef Antonio Mellino.

The 2024 Private Preview comes at a busy time for the brand, which has recently reported record-breaking revenues in the first half of 2024.
