Paris Hilton responded to fans who urged her to put a life jacket on her son, Phoenix, during a recent catamaran outing.
The situation unfolded when Paris, 43, posted a TikTok video on Wednesday, August 28, showcasing Phoenix, 19 months old, exploring a Sunreef catamaran. While Phoenix seemed to enjoy himself as he roamed the boat, numerous fans flooded the comments section to criticize Paris for not ensuring her son wore a life jacket.
“I’m so anxious not seeing him in a life jacket! Safety on water is paramount!” one commenter expressed. Another added, “Momma, please make sure he wears a life jacket anytime he’s on a boat!! Accidents happen. That’s why they’re termed accidents. With love.”
Additional social media users voiced their worries as a third person noted, “He’s so adorable. It makes me nervous. He really needs a life jacket. I worry for him a lot.”
Paris finally addressed the issue by responding to the concerns in the comments. “Hey Mamas, I appreciate your advice and care for my #CutesieCrew,” she wrote. “It’s a large boat, and my husband and I are closely monitoring him everywhere, watching like hawks. My children are my world!”
