The Italian shipyard Cantieri di Pisa has unveiled the initial model of its fresh Saturno series. Spanning 56 meters, the Saturno 56 will join four other vessels ranging from 38 meters to the flagship 90-meter Super Saturno 90. The exterior design, featuring a traditional stern, ample “ribbon windows” and striped hull detailing, was executed in-house. According to the shipyard’s chief designer Antonio Luxardo, the range boasts a classic layout that retains Cantieri di Pisa’s traditional stylistic elements while meeting the needs of contemporary owners seeking spaces that blend relaxation and activity. Interior design was handled by Milan’s m2atelier, who adopted a symmetrical design and minimalistic finishes, such as coffered ceilings, three-dimensional wood elements, and mini spotlights, inspired by Japanese aesthetics. The yacht offers accommodation in six cabins and boasts an 11.2-meter beam. Additional features include a glass-bottomed pool, a sundeck gym, and a beach club accessible via a transverse staircase. The Saturno 56 will be equipped with twin 1,600hp Caterpillar engines, with hybrid propulsion being explored. An Eco High Power Hull ensures efficient fuel consumption and extended cruising capabilities. The shipyard recently secured a deal to construct a 37.5-meter explorer yacht for a French client through its new custom division.
