The charming city of Sanremo on the Italian Riviera is set to host the eagerly awaited Cape 31 European Championship from November 7 to 10.
The second Cape 31 European Championship event will feature an impressive turnout of 22 Cape 31 teams from various European nations and beyond, all competing for victory in what is considered one of the most exciting sailing classes globally. The beautiful waters of Sanremo, known for their challenging conditions and scenic views, will serve as an ideal setting for this exhilarating contest.
Mark Mills, designer of the Cape 31, stated, “The first Cape 31 Europeans in the Mediterranean marks a significant milestone for the Class, providing an excellent opportunity to connect with new owners from various countries at the season’s finale. It represents the culmination of considerable effort from the Class, owners, crews, and 31 North to establish a remarkable Class that is rapidly expanding globally. I am looking forward to it!”
