Sunsation Powerboats 40 CCX

Sun Cropped With Logo

In late 2018, Sunsation Powerboats unveiled its largest center console model to date, expanding on the success of its 32 and 34 CCX models. This boat took two years to develop and ended up being a foot longer than initially intended. With options for triple or quad configurations powered by Mercury Racing, the Michigan-based builder also offers bespoke interior finishes and customized graphics.

One standout feature is the SeaDek installed on the hardtop, perfect for sunbathers to lounge while the boat is either at a sandbar or docked. Additionally, potential buyers will appreciate the starboard side dive door, a spacious rear bench seat accommodating up to three passengers, and a two-person sculpted lounge positioned in front of the captain’s helm.

The 40 CCX model is equipped with dual boosters, and to facilitate easier docking, Sunsation includes a bow thruster. As per Joe Schaldenbrand from Sunsation, the boat boasts an impressive top speed of approximately 75 mph.
