Sunseeker, the esteemed British yacht builder located in Poole, has shared an important update regarding the operational challenges they are currently facing. These challenges have necessitated “temporary layoffs” for a small segment of their dedicated workforce, amounting to a limited number among the company’s 2,150 employees. This adjustment took effect on January 2 and 3, 2025.
The good news is that all 100 employees impacted by these temporary layoffs are expected to return to their roles by January 27, 2025. In the meantime, they have the option to utilize this period as paid leave. This decision was made in light of supply chain disruptions that escalated during December, impacting the company’s operations.
