At the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show, Benetti unveiled the world debut of its impressive steel-hulled B.Now 50M. Excitingly, they revealed that 16 units had already been sold, marking the 499GT, four-deck superyacht as “the most popular 50m model in history.”

Fast forward two years, and Benetti showcased three steel superyachts at the same event, including Asani. This stunning B.Now 50M features the much-coveted Oasis Deck® option, designed with a focus on creating an inviting, homely, and tranquil atmosphere, perfectly embodying the owner’s vision.

The hull of the B.Now 50M was masterfully crafted by PLANA (Pier Luigi Ausonio Naval Architecture) alongside the Azimut-Benetti Group’s Research & Development Department. Asani is powered by two 1,400hp MAN V12 engines, achieving a respectable top speed of 15 knots and an impressive range of 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. Meanwhile, two 118kW Kohler generators and CMC Marine electric stabilisers ensure a stable and comfortable cruising experience.

OUTDOOR ZONES

The design of the B.Now series is spearheaded by the British studio RWD, and the B.Now 50M has taken the spotlight for its sporty aesthetics. The inaugural unit showcased the standard aft design, but many clients have since opted for the Oasis Deck® option, which is beautifully exemplified in Asani.

Making a grand entrance, the Oasis Deck® features fold-out aft bulwarks that, on the B.Now 50M, provide an astonishing 116sqm of space right at the water’s edge, complete with stunning 270-degree views extending from the aft end of the saloon.

The innovative three-level Oasis Deck® begins at the back with a spacious swim platform. Moving up one level, you’ll find a central pool backed by glass, flanked by two large L-shaped sofas and coffee tables, creating an infinity-style view thanks to the drop-down sides.

Ascending central steps lead to the main deck, which boasts a covered area featuring a bar with bar stools, a cozy seating arrangement to the starboard side, and a port-side staircase that leads gracefully to the upper deck. Each level presents bespoke furniture exquisitely crafted by Interdecor Design.

At the forefront of the main deck, the spacious garage is easily accessed through a double hydraulic hatch on the starboard side. It can accommodate two jetskis, various water toys, a 6.25m tender, and a rescue tender, making it perfect for adventurous outings.

The upper deck opens up generously with a wide sofa facing a covered dining area complete with a custom-made table. A sliding door gives a seamless transition into the skylounge, while the outdoor attractions continue with two L-shaped sofas and a sunpad, which features a movable backrest that transforms it into additional seating.

From the upper deck, an aft staircase leads to the expansive sun deck, presenting a lavish open area adorned with sun loungers. Flanking the covered central space are two generous L-shaped sofas, complemented by adjustable coffee tables that can elevate and extend into dining arrangements. To top it off, there’s a Jacuzzi offering breathtaking views.

INDOOR ATTRACTIONS

The interior design of Asani is a stunning collaboration between Benetti, led by in-house designer Mauro Izzo, and the acclaimed Bergman Design House. This collaboration ensured that everything, from the suppliers and materials to the bespoke furnishings, was meticulously curated alongside the owner for a tailored aesthetic.

Art plays a pivotal role on board, with pieces by Ula Saniawa of Unit 89, Roi James, and Sougwen Chung, alongside a striking games table by Jallu Ebénistes, and a unique coffee table by Mattia Bonetti from David Gill Gallery, enriching the spaces.

Benetti proudly states, “Various commissioned pieces of art echo themes derived from nature and the ocean, while bespoke furnishings double as pieces of art themselves, emphasizing a harmonious living experience.”

By incorporating nature within the design, vibrant blues and organic shapes draw the eye and establish a sense of tranquility and comfort throughout the yacht.

In terms of layout, Asani is the first of its kind in the B.Now 50M series to showcase a revamped main saloon, offering ample space designed for entertaining guests. The saloon serves as an indoor extension of the Oasis Deck®, showcasing elegant surfaces and furnishings crafted from natural oak, complemented with dark wenge-effect details.

A spacious C-shaped sofa on the port side is a custom creation by Benetti, harmonizing effortlessly with a bespoke rug inspired by the flowing motions of ocean waves, along with various accessories characterized by organic forms and textures. The thoughtfully chosen Elmgreen & Dragset artwork, by the owner’s selection, offers a soothing focal point against a backdrop of varied blue skies.

Forward on the main deck lies a transverse dining table that comfortably seats up to 12 guests. Further ahead on the port side is the galley, which allows the crew to access their quarters situated in the forward section of the lower deck. Their private stairway leads efficiently to the upper decks, and the yacht accommodates six cabins for 10 crew members.

The full-beam master suite on the starboard side includes its own dressing area and a generously sized private bathroom dressed in exquisite Calacatta marble, along with a balcony featuring an outdoor shower, a custom integrated feature in the original yacht layout, plus a convenient day head.

The custom installation by Ula Saniawa, featuring delicate elements swirling in layered complexity, elegantly hangs above the bed, embodying the very essence of Asani. This captivating piece has inspired numerous finishing touches throughout the yacht and has played a vital role in the yacht’s branding.

On the lower deck, four guest cabins are each equipped with their own private bathrooms, ensuring that the luxurious finishes and materials introduced on the main deck are seamlessly echoed throughout the yacht.
